Step Fb4 is imprecise, I can see the possibility for changes in solution volume that will throw off the accuracy of the analysis. Test samples where high in CBD and low in d9 THC. When analyzing high THC samples, the large peak for d9 THC will likely drown out the d8 THC peak. Which makes this method less useful in real life conditions. The ERP members discussed these comments with the method authors and agreed that, while these may be valid points in certain situations, they do not disqualify the method from meeting the SMPR. MOTION to move this method to First Action Official Methods of Analysis Status (Audino/Reibach) 13 in favor, 0 opposed, 2 abstentions. The motion passed.
