MUSIC REVIEWS MOOSE BLOOD Blush Haven’t heard of Moose Blood? Your teenage sister probably has their poster on her wall. It’s been a big last 12 months for the four-piece from across the pond. The English lads have toured the world and signed with alternative giants Hopeless Records to release their sophomore album: Blush . Moose Blood are another one of those rock bands riding the Tumblr fan-wave to success – cool in the right circles and completely unknown in others. There are no gimmicks, just refreshingly honest tales; Honey and Knuckles are stories about loss and moving on, Sulk is slinky track about missing out. If it were 2004, MB would have straightened fringes and eyeliner. Thankfully (for all of our sakes) we have moved on from those dark times.

(Hopeless Records/UNFD) Tim Lambert
