Preemption

This Section specifically preempts any conflicting limitations on the requirements for eligibility placed upon the City by Texas Local Government Code, Section 143.028, 143.030, and 143.031 by replacing eligibility requirements.

Positions in the classification of Captain - Communications shall be filled from an eligibility list created by a promotional procedure consisting of a written examination and an Assessment Center conducted in accordance with this Article. 23
