Interior architect-designer Lisa Foster partnered with a preservationist friend to renovate this 19th century Methodist church and house 10 minutes from Vineyard Haven. Foster kept many details – the floors were patched with wood from former pews – and paired them with vintage furniture gathered on her travels. There are industrial-style chandeliers, paintings by local artists and 1940s photos on the walls.
