DAYS 1-4 HOBART TO PORT DAVEY Embark and cruise to the family- run Grandvewe Cheeses company to learn about the process of sheep cheese-making and enjoy a taste of their “ewenique” sheep’s whey vodka. A marine reserve and part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Port Davey is a great place to explore on foot, and you’ll enjoy the unforgettable experience of kayaking in Bathurst Harbour. Note: the itinerary is flexible and subject to weather conditions. DAYS 5-6 BRUNY ISLAND TO MARIA ISLAND NATIONAL PARK Take in the rugged beauty of the Fluted Cape on a walk along sheer coastal cliffs. A hike in Freycinet National Park brings you to breathtaking Wineglass Bay. Watch for fur seals lounging on the rocks on the Ile des Phoques, then walk among the historic ruins, secluded bays, and rugged cliffs of Maria Island National Park, whose endemic denizens include Forester kangaroos, Bennett’s wallabies, and wombats.

DAYS 7-8 TASMAN NATIONAL PARK TO HOBART In Tasman National Park, view 1,000-foot-high sea cliffs and monumental sea stacks, with the possibility of seeing Australian fur seals “hauling out” on the rocky shores. At the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Port Arthur Historic Site, a former penal colony, you’ll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and enjoy Tasmanian wines and appetizers at a private reception. Return to Hobart and disembark.
