Mini-Circuits’ USB/RS232 Programmable Attenuator with 0.1dB Attenuation Step Size Mini-Circuits’ new ZVVA-3000 is a pocket-sized USB/RS232 controlled programmable attenuator combines the performance of a voltage variable design with the convenience and ease of use of a programmable step attenuator. This model operates from 20MHz to 3GHz, supporting a wide range of applications. Its novel hybrid design combines voltage-variable PIN diodes with a digital control interface, enabling very fine attenuation steps of just 0.1dB, and glitchless transitions between attenuation steps. The attenuator gives you an attenuation range from 0 to 50dB up to 500MHz and from 0 to 25dB up to 3000MHz. It provides +23dBm RF power handling, high linearity with IP3 of +52dBm, and high-speed attenuation switching of just 900ns. USB control allows convenient control from almost any PC. The unit comes supplied with Mini-Circuits user- friendly GUI software for Windows ® systems, which allows you to sweep and hop attenuation levels and even save and recall your own test profiles with specific attenuation patterns for R&D and production testing, saving time and reducing operator errors. DLLs for 32- and 64-bit Windows systems and complete programming instructions Windows and Linux ® allow the same capabilities through your native test software. Mini-Circuits Introduces USB Controlled Solid State 2-SP2T Switch, DC to 8GHz Mini-Circuits’ new line of solid-state switch products continues to grow to give you more options for your signal routing needs in test systems where extremely fast switching is a requirement. Model USB-2SP2T-DCH is a USB-controlled, solid state switch matrix containing two independent SPDT absorptive RF switches operating over frequencies from DC to 8GHz. It provides ultra- fast switching speed of just 14µs, very high isolation of 50dB typ., high IP3 of +50dBm, and RF input power handling up to +35dBm. The unit comes housed in a rugged aluminum alloy case (4.58x2.00x0.475”) with SMA-F connectors at all RF ports. Controlled and powered via USB, the switch comes supplied with Mini-Circuits’ user-friendly GUI software and DLLs for 32- and 64-bit Windows ® systems, as well as complete programming instructions for Windows and Linux ® programming environments, supporting control through the user’s native control software.
