NAHB’s IBS Recap

The association would like to congratulate Rich Robinson of Member Rebate Program for receiving the 2017 NAHB “One to Watch” Award. In addition, Past President of the Professional Women in Building of the Garden State (PWBGS) council, Giovanna Pergola of Meyers Research and current President of PWBGS, Georgette Kyriacou of FWH

Associates, were recognized as finalists in the Professional Women in Building individual awards for Woman of the Year and One to Watch Awards, respectively. One of our builder members, Christopher Amato of CMM Custom Homes was part of the panel of experts at an educational seminar presenting a topic on technology for homebuilders.

And, longtime Shore Builders member Dean Mon of MonGroup Properties was elected as the 2018 Second Vice Chairman of the NAHB, placing him in a position to become the future Chairman of NAHB.

The new year kicked off with an informative presentation by Stephen Melman, Director, Economic Services from NAHB. He provided an overview of the 2018 economic forecast for the building industry in New Jersey, followed by a robust dialogue with attendees.
