Learning Objectives for Session:

Develop a solid understanding of the pathophysiology of hyperadrenocorticism and how it manifests clinically

 Understand the limitations of diagnostic tests for hyperadrenocorticism

 Learn how to use Vetoryl to treat hyperadrenocorticism safely and effectively

 Have the ability to deal with more complex Cushing’s cases including those presenting with multiple endocrinopathies and those which don’t respond to medication as expected  Learn how to use Pre-Vetoryl Cortisol for long term monitoring

Afternoon Session—Feline Hyperthyroidism

Learning Objectives for Session:

 Develop a solid understanding of the pathophysiology of hyperthyroidism, how it manifests clinically and how it is diagnosed  Be able to deal with hyperthyroidism alongside other concurrent disease with a focus on the management of the azotaemic hyperthyroid cat  Gain knowledge of all treatment methods available for feline hyperthyroidism, the advantages and disadvantages of each and where each fits into clinical practice
