CHECK OUT | YAYOI KUSAMA The Glass House plays host to the iconic, modernist Yayoi Kusama’s new steel pumpkin and landscape installation. Yayoi Kusama: Narcissus Garden celebrates both the 10th anniversary of the Glass House being open to the public and Philip Johnson’s 110th birthday, and pairs the artist and architects’ visions. In September, Kusama creates an “infinity room” displaying her signature polka dots, symbols of the individual among the billion of particles in the world. Presented Sept. 1st -26th.

VISIT | MUPPET MAKER Kermit + the Swedish Chef pair up to illustrate Jim Henson’s career in the media. Coming this fall, the Museum of the Moving Image adds a permanent gallery dedicated to Henson’s work. Close to 500 puppets, scripts, behind the scenes footage will be on display from Sesame Street to the Muppet Show.
