TASHA JACKSON 5'7" Jr. - Lake Oswego,OR

Tasha enters her junior year academically and her sophomore season athletically. - She sat out the 1996 season after suffering

' " a knee injury in the fall. She had a strong I995 fa ll campaign, advancing to the quarters of the Rol ex Southern California Reg ional Championships in both sing les and doubl es (with Juli e Baird). In 1994, her freshman season, she finished 18- 14 overall ( 15-12 sing les) . Prior to USO, she prepped at Lake Oswego HS. In '94 singles she was #60 nationally and attended the Olympic Festival. In '93 and '94 she was # I in Pac ific Northwest I8's; #62 nationall y and #7 in doubles. Won state doubles championship her fre shman year ( 1991 ). She received the Scott Eden Sportsmanship Award for her overall junior career in the PNW. Was recruited by

Michelle enters her second season with the Toreros. Last year she finished 30-23 over–

alI (2 1-12 in sing les; 9-11 in doubles). Playing mostl y #3 sing les, she recorded a 14-8 mark at that position. During the 1995 fa ll season Mi che ll e was 8-4 overall , including a team-best 6-3 mark in sing les play. Michelle enters the 1997 spring season with an overa ll record of 34-27 (24- 15 in singles; I0-12 in doubles). Prior to USO Michelle was the# I-ranked player in Canada and a three-time Canadian National Champion (Junior I6 ' s and I8's). Major: Undecided
