BLIS ® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert 1,2 helps keep you aware of other vehicles while you’re driving. An amber light in your sideview mirror indicates when traffic is detected in a blind spot. As you slowly back out of a parking spot or driveway, it alerts you to vehicles approaching from either side with a sound, a message center warning and an amber light. Adaptive cruise control and collision warning with brake support 1 help maintain a preset gap from the vehicle in front of you. If it detects a potential collision, the system flashes a warning across your windshield, sounds an alarm, pre-charges the brakes and increases brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. Active park assist 1 helps with parallel parking. It measures the size of the space, then steers you into the spot. You just lightly control shifting, braking and accelerating – with your hands entirely off the wheel. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. 1 Available feature. 2 BLIS replaces standard integrated blind spot mirrors.
