SENIOR HOUSING EDUCATION SERIES Join us for an eight-week series that includes an array of topics focusing on housing resources and options for seniors. You can pay $10 for all eight sessions or $2 per session. You must pre-register online at www.ShakopeeMN.gov or in person at the Community Center Front Desk.

Learn more about senior housing options: the pros and cons of condominiums, townhouses, senior housing cooperatives, rentals and more. Discover the importance of establishing a strategy for a future move and understand the art of timing when selling your home.

TAKING CARE OF THE CAREGIVER As the number of persons with Alzheimer’s and related dementia increases worldwide so does the number of caregivers caring for them. This presentation focuses on the importance of taking time to care for yourself as a caregiver and guide you to resources and services in the community that you may want to add to your caregiving tool box.
