LECTURE SERIES

On Monday, March 2 nd , at 8:00 p.m. Josh Glazer, a vice-president of Christies, will speak about the commercial art market. It will be different than past programs and quite fascinating to all, whether or not you are an art collector.

On Tuesday, March 24 th , at 8:00 p.m. we will be visited by David Makovsky of the Washington Institute on Near East Policy. David is an American journalist, who lived in, and reported from, Israel for many years. He recently took a leave of absence from the Institute to become one of Secretary Kerry's principal deputies during the recent intense, but unsuccessful, Palestinian peace talks. He is now back at the Institute, where he is reasonably free to talk about said talks. Moreover, since the Israeli elections will occur on March 17 th , we will benefit from his insight as to the election results, as well as other matters affecting Israel. On Wednesday, April 22 nd , at 8:00 p.m . we will hear from James Jeffrey, also from the Washington Institute. He is a captivating and insightful speaker with an extraordinary resume-- Ambassador to both Turkey and Iraq and numerous high level tours in the White House and State Dept.
