Revised Expert Review Panel (ERP) Proposal for Veterinary Drug Residue  Methods 

BACKGROUND  Last August, AOAC stakeholders approved standard method performance requirements  (SMPR®): Sugars for 151 veterinary drug residues in a variety of food commodities.  AOAC  issued a call for methods thereafter.   In preparation for the upcoming ERP meeting, AOAC  reached out to the members of the AOAC ERP for Veterinary Drug Residues to ascertain  their continued interest in serving on the ERP.  The result of the inquiry is six (6) members  willing to continue their service.  AOAC also issued a call for experts to which four (4)  applications were received.  Please find below a proposal to revise the expert review panel (ERP) to review methods  received as a result of a call for methods for that specific SMPR.    RECOMMENDATION  OMB to review the proposed revised ERP for Veterinary Drug Residue Methods in Table I  using the applicant information including: Perspectives of Proposed Revised ERP,  Statements of Expertise with Staff Recommendations, and CVs, and render a decision on  this ERP and verify the status for all applicants.
