Summary: Throughout my professional career, I have used a wide range of instrumentation to conduct a variety of analyses. I have the ability to learn new systems and methods to adapt to changing market demands. The data collected in each of these experiences has been used for a many purposes: product development, testing compliance and litigation. Experience: 2010 – 2015 Galbraith Laboratories –Technical Manager

As technical manager my responsibilities were to; support the lab, clients and upper management. The lab support included training analysts to instrument techniques, providing instrument maintenance support, new method development and providing project management of regulated and technical challenging sample analysis. Clients required technical assistance in method selection and project support for new method development. Management support included marketing, client management and technical support for the development of new analysis, new instrument acquisition and the expansion of current capabilities. Microbial Insights – Analytical Chemist I was responsible for the lipid analysis of microbial communities. This information was used to determine the ability for microbial remediation of environmentally impacted sites. I also used custom methods to determine the presence of nutrients and also metabolites from degradation. I have experience using GC (fid, TCD, NPD), GC/MS, HPLC (UV / fluorescence), IC (conductivity cell), Entech air sampler, EzChrom Elite, HPChemstation, IC Net.
