1993-2000 Test America Nashville (formerly Specialized Assays) : While maintaining the supervisor position over 4 years I was responsible for the employee training, method development and compliance issues as well as instrument purchases, maintenance and repair. With extraction experience as well as instrumentation capabilities I was involved in all aspects of data collection and analysis. This was a commercial analytical facility that specialized on primarily on SW-846, and NIOSH methods. We carried certifications for NIOSH, NELAC, Navy, Army and several state certifications including; New York, New Jersey, Virginia and Florida. Related tasks and instruments: all organic extractions, GC (FID, NPD, PID, ECD), GC/ MS, HPLC (UV/fluorescence), purge and trap units, various data collection software used. Kenwill Environmental : Extractable organics lab extraction technician, TCLP lab extractions. The focus of this lab was SW-846 methodologies. Here I was also introduced to GC analyses.
