SLÀINTE! Raise a glass with the latest whisky fromMaster Distillers, The Glenlivet. Laid down in 1966, the 50-year-old single malt whisky has been crafted by generations, matured over decades and hidden within the walls of the Glenlivet distillery. The second release from The Glenlivet Winchester Collection is housed within a mouth-blown glass bottle with elegant lines that evoke flowing water (Glenlivet translates as valley of the smooth flowing one). The bottle is topped with a gold stopper set with a Cairngorm smoky quartz stone, picking up the rich dark hue of the whisky. The bottle of whisky is presented in a cherry wood cabinet – the whole package represents generations of craftsmanship. The only problem is that just 100 70cl bottles of this precious nectar are available. $25,000, available from harrods.com

Swiss-inspired canapés by Michelin-starred executive chef Shay Cooper – tuck into tartiflette, rösti potatoes and mustard macaroons with Emmental cheese and cured ham. You can even take a selfie of your Cresta experience…on The Goring’s veranda. +44 207 396 9000, thegoring.com
