The Salad Bar Opening & Closing Procedure

 Refill salad bar with ice and take out plates, soup bowls, spoons, ramekins, utensils, oil- vinegar underneath the salad bar  Put hot water in the soup heater and switch it on  Get all the items for the salad bar from the kitchen cooler out  Prepare a big basket of assorted crackel bread, Bring out cookie tree. Bring out all our dressings including fat free dressings, salads, fruits, a bowl of butter balls, parmesan cheesem oil and vinager, anchovies, red wine vinager  Dont forget to check the signs and make sure the writing is clean and assigned to the correct item

For dinner use china plates instead of plastic and you do not need s basket of bread or cookies

on the salad bar. Make sure all salads have the correct signs and utensils.

 Take all food items back to the kitchen  Put all utensils in the washing up  Turn off soup warmer

 Place bread basket in a bag for the following day  Refill all salad dressing and put back in the fridge  Wipe all sides of the salad bar, remove any food from ice and refill

 Put boards and fluff back on for the following day  Keep the signs in order (lunch and dinner separated)
