Food and Beverage Training Manual

Admin Folder & Staff Folder Important paperwork is stored in two folders for admin and staff. The first contains paperwork for captains; the later contains important paperwork for the staff. The last printout of every document is the copy sample. It is everybody’s responsibility to restock the folder before using the last printout. Safety Procedures In case of a medical emergency or fire the following safety procedures fall into place. For medical emergencies the Beach Club is equipped with a first responder bag, which is always located under a cart on the south side of the building. Further, an AED is located behind the bar. The management and most captains are educated as first responders. In case of a medical emergency, inform management immediately and follow given directions. In case of a small fire outside the kitchen, every side exit is equipped with a fire extinguisher. The kitchen has its own sprinkler system and a foam extinguisher for grease fires. The number one credo is safety first. In the event of a fire every employee has to leave the building and gather in the parking lot in front of the building. If the exits to the front are blocked gather at the flag pole at the sea grapes. This is crucial, since first responders will go back into the building if any employee scheduled is missing. In any case management is to be informed immediately and directions are to be followed. Every unauthorized use of extinguishers will be investigated. Printing Drop Box Documents without a Computer Documents from your phone or laptop can be printed without accessing a computer via a wireless printer.
