The 48 th editi on o f the Al ca la Yearbook was printed by Jos tens Publishing in Visali a, Ca li fo rni a w ith the ass istance of Ed Joshe n, the Jostens representati ve for USD. Thi s book of approx imate ly 230 pages was printed on I00-po und lithog loss paper over a seven month pe ri od . A ll work was do ne in the yearbook office. located on the bottom leve l of the Uni ve rs ity Cente r in Stude nt Publi shing UC 11 4A. T hi s yea r a ll layo uts we re c reated and submitted using Adobe PageMake r 6 .5 and the Yea11ech program. A ll computer work was done on iMac compute rs and printouts we re do ne o n a Canon i550. We attempted to rema in cons istent th ro ug ho ut the book : the onl y fo nts used we re Eri c Bru sh and Times. A ll cropping was done as usua l, w ith our sta te-of-the-art croppers and those infamous orange pencil s . Thi s year littl e work was done us ing di g ita l cameras or scanne rs. The 2002- 2003 yea rboo k staff cons isted of seven individua ls: Meghan Ril ey, Co ll een Ril ey, Ke ll y Co los imo, Laura Carlson, Ed ie Feffe r, Rac he le Scaringe lli and John Nunes .
