Work process 2.2 Works on the promotion and safeguarding of quality care

Assignment 1 Consult with your colleagues and make a suggestion to improve the quality within the activities you carry out as a caregiver in mental health care. Use information from research and/or work out the extent to which the protocols and guidelines of the organisation are adhered to, with the objective of improving the activities.

Create a plan of action for this improvement plan. Take into account the institution protocols and guidelines and legal frameworks.

Assignment 2 Carry out the plan for improvement. Encourage colleagues to carry out the improvement plan. Write a report of the course of the improvement plan. Involve:  your plan of action  the product evaluation: to what extent have the objectives been met?  the process evaluation: what was the course of the improvement plan?  which procedures and legal guidelines have you taken into account?

Result The nurse in individual healthcare in the mental health care sector has purposefully deployed her expertise to improve the quality of the activities.
