Efficiency Champions Network Over 200 Efficiency Champions are active within companies across industry. Champions spread the message of the need for sustainable change and increase awareness of the ETF. They help develop, implement and continually improve ETF good practice guidelines, as well as capture their impact in case studies.

Roadshows Roadshows take the efficiency message directly to employees, which is critical in permanently embedding cultural change. Roadshows: Reinforce the need for continued focus on industry efficiency and sustainability Outline how engagement with ETF activities can help drive business improvements and realise significant benefits Provide a platform to share industry case studies and learnings, as well as promote collaboration

Guidelines There have been over 400 downloads of guidelines developed by the ETF on topics including Procurement (Tender Efficiency Framework), Maintenance, Compression Systems, Subsea Standardisation and Engineered Products. A survey of those who have downloaded the Subsea Standardisation guideline shows: • Most users (85 per cent) found the guideline helpful • Three quarters of those who used principles from the guideline saw a positive impact on operations • Companies are beginning to apply these principles in major projects such as the Apache Callater project, Nexen’s Buzzard Phase II, Spirit Energy’s Pegasus West project and the Chevron West Wick Prospect • Using the guideline principles could result in cost savings of up to 25 per cent and may improve the viability of many projects

Industry Progress The UK Continental Shelf’s efficiency has been transformed since 2014, helping to restore the competitiveness of the basin. It is crucial that these improvements are sustained to ensure that much needed new investment is delivered.
