COVID-19 Plans – We are currently not holding in-person worship and access to our buildings is restricted. We will continue to evaluate this decision based on the recommendations from the CDC and our state governor. We believe the stay at home order is best to help minimize the spread of this disease and to keep people safe. All worship and programming will be held online. Tuesdays at 4 PM via Zoom, we’ll gather for silence, to check in with each other, and to share prayer requests and to lift up whatever is on our hearts to God. Meeting ID: 293 323 791 Thursdays at 1 PM, Gloria Brown will be leading a Bible Study on the Psalms. Email her at gjbrown58@ gmail.com to receive class materials. Meeting ID: 232 499 191 Fridays at 4 PM via Zoom, we’ll have a “Class Meeting” style gathering. We’ll check-in with each other, encourage one another in our spiritual practices, and ask “How is it with your soul?” Meeting ID: 563 219 865 Food Pantry – Our Food Pantry is open to everyone on the island! Thank you toallwhohavedonated funds or food, assisted with setup, connected us with supplies, and more. We are open from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Wednesdays, and can accommodate pickup or delivery at other times. Visit www.chebeagueumc. org/food-pantry for more information as well as a list of what we have available. We also have face masks and fresh produce to share. Seed Swap - In partnership with the Rec Center and the Library! Have some extra seeds you aren’t using in your garden this year? Or do you have room for some extra crops? Visit the Parish House to drop off seed packets or browse what is available. Thank You! – From all of us at the church, thank you so much for your support for us and for this ministry over the past few weeks. From additional financial gifts to the church and the food pantry to the gift of time and energy, from the extra measure of kindness to one another to the grace we’re all extending each other as we move forward, it all makes a difference to how we emerge from this experience as a caring, compassionate community. As we continue into the weeks and months ahead, we understand the large degree of uncertainty that lies ahead.
