• 1 orange, sliced into wheels • 1 lemon, sliced into wheels • 1 cup fresh blueberries • 11/2 cups chilled lemon-lime soda ( Sprite recommended ) DIRECTIONS

Combine the blueberry juice, wine and liqueur in a large pitcher (2-quart minimum). Add orange and lemon slices and fresh blueberries. Stir. Chill until ready to serve. Just before serving, stir in the lemon-lime soda. Serve in tall glasses over ice. Add an orange and lemon wheel and blueberries for garnish.

LIME RIM Prepare using equal parts of salt and sugar. Combine with some freshly grated lime.

WEEKNIGHT SPECIAL SIDE DISH: SKILLET STREET CORN This side dish is very easy to expand if you have a large group to entertain. Watch out for the heat—you can adjust the spiciness by removing jalapeno seeds! Remove corn from cob and combine with all ingredients except milk or cream and cheese. Heat a ten-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with a few tablespoons of oil. Cook corn in skillet for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Try to let some corn kernels pick up a little bit of char. Remove from heat and add milk and cheese, stir to combine, and serve. • 4 cobs of corn • juice from 1 lime • tsp chili powder • 1 tsp. cumin • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced • 1 shallot, diced • 1 cup milk or heavy cream • 1 cup shredded parmesan or cotija cheese • cooking oil
