I would like to thank everyone for their dedication and hard work for helping out with completing various projects. So, continue to come on out and lend a helping hand where needed.

If you have been to the island or may have seen some pics online you are aware that we received extensive tree trimming to several trees and the topping of (2) trees on the Robinson. And if you were part of the cleanup crew, you know what I mean. We had nasty weather, a lot of brush and plenty of large limbs that needed to be hauled over to the fire pit.

If you or if you know anyone in need of some firewood, we have quite a bit that’s yours for the taking. It’s located behind the NCYC sign. Please come get it before it gets burned.

I would like to give a shout out to Billy Balfour for his generous donation of the (2) no wake buoys. We are also going to insta ll white lights on them so hopefully they don’t get run over again.

I would also like to thank Archie Archibald for his generous donation of approx. (12) 3 x 5 American Flags that will be proudly flown throughout the island.

Had some text dialog on 5-4- 23 with Bret Kahl from Ron’s marine regarding the Septic System pump out. It will be 5-12 in the a.m.

Membership

Boating member who was approved to switch from boating to non-boating has not responded or paid 2023 dues. Motion: Shelley Sweier to expel member for nonpayment of dues. Second: Bill Frederiksen. Motion Carried Shelley Sweier will have 2023 NCYC Membership cards at the Club beginning Thursday, May 25, 2023. The reciprocal courtesy card for Yachting Club of America will be available at that time. (cards for Yachting Club of America were received by NCYC in February 2023.) 2023 new members -- two tables will be reserved for them at the general membership meeting. Letters are being sent with information on opening weekend and to confirm their attendance.
