Annual Meeting.

Section II:

The duties of Officers shall be such as are implied by their respective titles and are specified in these By Laws.

Section III:

PRESIDENT

A.

Shall preside at all meetings and appoint Directors of all Standing Committees, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, in accordance with these By Laws. Shall be an Ex-Officio member of all committees, except the Nominating and Teller Committee.

Shall countersign checks with the Treasurer.

D.

Shall review the duties of each elected office at the General Membership Meeting held in conjunction with NCYC Labor Day events.

E.

Votes only on ballot issues or to break a tie.

F.

Shall monitor the activities, duties and decisions of the Board of Directors. Shall appoint a Budget Committee to consist of the President, Vice President, Treasurer and one non board member in good standing. The Vice President shall preside as chairperson for the Budget Committee. Shall appoint a Past President as Chairperson for the Nominating Committee. Shall appoint an active First Mate in good standing to review the financial records in June on a yearly basis, except upon election of a new Treasurer.
