Y es, it sounds like I am repeating clichés but really, its time for sanity and normality to return and I can state with some certainly we have no more weather events to report in New Zealand. However, it is timely to reflect on how well we are prepared for the unexpected. Some of the biggest highlights with the recent events was how well the Teams handled communication, empathy for our customers, website announce - ments and a clear brief so all Team Members were on point and giving the same answers to questions and recording all conversations in customer notes. Another tip is never forgetting the peace of mind a customer can gain by Team Members reassuring that everything is fine and encourage a site visit to make sure the customers individual unit is not affected.

Also I pose a question to you: While we have a check item in WHS on the SCOTY form to confirm when we have practised a site evacuation annually, with new Team Members and centre swaps, do all Team Members who work with you today know what the ERP is and what to do? I hope so. On another note, we have a great number of Kiwi Team Members coming to our 50th year Achievement Dinner this month. We look forward to seeing as many Team Members as we can and catching up. It's going to be a great night.

Often in stressful times, we tend to rush and panic in our actions and can overlook things unintentionally. By having an up-to-date and easy to reference ERP, you can confiden - tially deal with any situation and move ‘ Prevention is better than repair, this is a reminder that all team members should be familiar with their individual sites “emergency response plan - erp”
