Wine We

Wine Training During the past five years we have been embarking on an enhanced and more intimate relationship with our current and future wine storage customers. With 16 locations our wine storage niche represents a potential annual income of $2.3 million. We believe training our Teams to be "Wine Storage Special- ists" is an important part of this process! For the past few years we have been focusing on putting our Wine Team through this programme. During our last two day session the Team completed a wine appreciation course with The Wine Society and then spent the second day in the classroom learning about the wine industry, sales, the correct features and benefits, competitor intelli- gence and how to manage their cellar. The results from the training were outstanding, with the conversion rate on wine enquiries increasing from 64% to 85%!

Australian Wine Companion Awards Winners of the Halliday Australian Wine Companion Awards were announced at a sparkling gala dinner held at the Melbourne Museum in July. The annual event marked the release of the 2016 Halliday Wine Companion. Kennards Wine Storage is a proud sponsor of the event that celebrates the success of many individuals, wines and wineries in the Australian market.
