We’ll be able to make our stock even more secure by limiting access to certain people, at particular times of the day, and even to certain sensitive products. Does badge-based identification allow you to ensure easier control of machine utilisation. Yes, the operators can use their clocking-in badges directly on the machine, or log in with an identifier and password. No longer any need to use several badges, this makes it much simpler to use. Is advanced machine filling suited to your needs? Do you save time for each filling operation compared with your old system? Yes, when I have to fill up with a lot of missing products. It’s faster and simpler because I can see the turret in 3D , and there are locker identifiers in the machine so I don’t get in a muddle with the lockers, this really limits mistakes and allows me to save time on a daily basis. What do you think about unit filling? Does the fact of restocking locker by locker allow you to avoid stock errors? This is a practical functionality when I have to add only a few missing products as I don’t have to keep opening the machine all the time. The fact of restocking locker by locker makes it possible to avoid making mistakes because it’s the software that guides me, I just have to choose the product to be returned on the screen and the corresponding hatch opens instantaneously. 24-hours-a-day availability The machine remains accessible 24-hours a-day. That’s really convenient. The feedback from the staff is good. The machines we had in the past were getting old and often broke down. Today, we have a concept that’s totally up to date.

Is STM easy to use and suited to your operators?

It’s very easy to use. Furthermore, that’s a real plus compared with what I was familiar with, it is simple, fluid and fast . In particular, it’s very quick when you have to create an article. When you have created an object, you have to send it and validate it directly on the machine. What do you think about the following functionalities: • Search by product category/subcategory The operators are very pleased with it, it’s a real bonus on a day-to-day basis. The thing we consume the most are our gloves. They can access gloves directly when they’re looking for them. So they waste less time. Some of the articles that weren’t distributed by our old machines are in great demand. This is the case for caps. • Favourite articles Favourite mode is also a very popular function, the teams waste less time looking for the same articles every morning. This is a real advantage because now they only take 10-15 seconds to get their products. • Shopping basket mode The fact you can select several articles by adding them to a shopping basket is a real advantage for the operators. That allows them to save time and energy (when they need several products at a time), and also to cut the number of mistakes because they can see what’s in the cart and modify it by adding products or removing excess products before validating. Does the Article/days restriction function allow you to secure your stock levels better? Have you noted lower waste levels? Our operators haven’t been submitted to any restrictions and have access to all the articles. We have approved a bit more than 85 badges with total access. However, this function will be a real plus if we note too high a rate of overconsumption and therefore of waste.
