The Stone Newsletter July -September 2021

General Manager’s Message

Dear Members,

I hope you are having a great summer and enjoying all the Club has to offer. Our three restaurants are offering a good variety of options for everyone. The Founders Café is open 7 days per week from 6am-3pm. One cannot argue that with the outdoor views vs. the parking lot view at all other area coffee shops, there is no better place for coffee, summer drinks and pastries. For delicious Italian cuisine, Amici is open Wednesday through Saturday at the Legacy Clubhouse. It is the perfect romantic setting or destination for a night out with friends. On Saturday evenings we offer entertainment, alternating weekends with Karaoke or Live Music. Families will enjoy Cellar 91's summer menu offering seasonal dishes with local ingredients. The ice cream bar is available nightly, wine down Wednesdays feature complimentary wine tastings, and our Oyster Bar is available on Friday and Saturday evenings. We are celebrating music by increasing the live performances on Cellar 91 Patio July through September. Our Summer Concert Series includes solo artists & duos on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm-8pm, & Fridays from 6pm 9pm. Concerts with full bands will perform on select Saturday dates from 7pm to 10pm. See page 2 for the line-up and schedule of these Saturday shows.

The Tennis Building renovation is coming to a close and irrigation/landscaping installation is on the horizon. Additional outdoor and indoor furniture pieces are on order, and we are experiencing several unforeseen back order and shipping delays. When it all comes together, we will have one of the finest facilities in the city.

As Mr. Gorham shared, we have brought in 122 new members this year through June and interest continues. I would like to also thank all of you for participating in keeping the Club an exciting place to be. Your participation in referring friends is incredible. Ashley Devine, Josh Marks, and Meg Boulter have utilized the tools we added with marketing enhancements and our new customer (prospective members) relationship management system to the fullest. I am so proud of

the way they represent Greystone. Please consider being an Ambassador by filling out the form on the homepage link. The most important part you can play is assisting new members with getting acclimated to the Club as an Ambassador. The team has created some amazing social events for the next three months of the year. Please take some time to read the offerings and keep the newsletter handy as a good reference guide. The Lakeside Activity Center giving campaign is going well, but we need many more Members to give to the project. We can make your experience even better with a pool slide and resort bar, basketball court, beach volleyball court and 4 pickleball courts and a beautiful, landscaped park experience. This will make a major positive impact to Greystone for you and the next generation of Members.

Our new Director of Facility Maintenance, Scott Cromer, has been doing an incredible job for us. In his first four months he has remodeled the Golf Course bathrooms at Founders, completed dozens of small projects and saved the Club thousands of dollars in outsourcing plumbing issues. His response time and level of service is remarkable and hopefully, you are seeing the small maintenance items getting accomplished. If you see Scott around please say hello.

I hope to see you around the Club soon.
