Budget Impact: The City Clerk's office is looking forward to some exciting changes in 2020. With the addition of the Presidential Nomination Primary there will be three elections this year. The clerk's office will also be responsible for the absentee and early voting process that was previously handled by Scott County. Shakopee residents will now be able to come to City Hall and cast their absentee ballot starting 46 days prior to each election and participate in early voting 7 days prior to each election.
