SHAKOPEE ICE ARENA

WE ARE OPEN! ICE RENTAL REQUIRED Due to state public health guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Shakopee Ice Arena is accepting ice rentals only. This is necessary to ensure the facility stays within the state's capacity guidelines.

LEARN TO SKATE Unfortunately, due to the current situation related to COVID-19, Shakopee Ice Arena will not be offering Learn to Skate classes for the near future. However, more than a dozen Learn to Skate and figure skating coaches work regularly with ice skaters through the facility's Figure Skating Development program. Some of those coaches would be happy to accommodate private and/or small group private sessions. If you are interested continuing your skating at this time, contact the Shakopee Ice Arena to find a coach in the private sector.

Figure skaters are invited to work on their skating skills either individually or through private lessons with an instructor. A limited number of monthly passes are available for $180. For more information, contact Skating Coordinator Trudy Oltmanns at toltmanns@ShakopeeMN.gov. OPEN SKATING & HOCKEY In accordance with state health guidelines, the Shakopee Ice Arena is not offering public skating, youth open hockey or developmental hockey at this time.

PRIVATE ICE RENTAL The Shakopee Ice Arena sells time to teams, clubs, camps and private groups at any time in the year. For available ice, please visit rinkfinder.com/ shakopeeicearena/ice-for-sale. To reserve ice time, contact Recreation Facilities Manager Troy Ciernia at tciernia@ShakopeeMN.gov or call 952- 233-9530. PRO SHOP EdgeTek Hockey operates the pro shop at the Shakopee Ice Arena.
