INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED Due to state public health guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Indoor Aquatic Center is currently limited to members only. Reservations are required to ensure the facility stays within the state's capacity guidelines. Reservations can be made on the city website at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/indooraquaticcenter . You can also find the current pool schedule. The sauna is currently closed.
• An individual must be 48 inches tall to use the large water slide. • Children 6 and under must have an adult within arm’s reach at all times. • All guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. • Jean pants, cut off shorts and heavy clothing that may inhibit swimming ability and non-swim diapers are not allowed in the pools. • Swim diapers are required for children not potty trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase at our front desk for a small fee. • Only US Coast Guard life jackets are permitted, except on slides. whirlpool and sauna. The pool also has family changing rooms, locker rooms and seating surrounding the pool deck. It is staffed by American Red Cross-trained and certified lifeguards. AQUATIC CENTER RULES The 22,300-square-foot aquatic center includes a zero-depth entry pool with play features and water slide, four-lane lap pool,
• An individual age 16+ must be in the water, within arm’s reach of any individual in a life jacket. • No food or drink, besides water, is permitted within the pool facility. • Glassware and similar materials with a tendency to shatter are not permitted.
• Fins, kickboards and snorkels may only be used during lap swim. • Water play items: Clean, safe, non-inflatable items that do not interfere with other patrons are permitted. • Use of essential oils is not permitted in the sauna. • Lifeguards may notify you of other policies. Please abide by their instruction.
