FUTURE OLYMPIANS All Olympians had to start at square one when it comes to their journey. What sport will your future Olympian place in? Each week participants will be able to experience a new sport and learn the fundamentals in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to train with their Olympians. LITTLE SHOOTERS BASKETBALL CAMP We’ll work on ball handling, dribble moves to the basket, layup footwork, proper shooting technique, defensive skills including positioning, contesting shots, boxing out and rebounding, as well as shooting and dribbling contests, all in a positive and fun environment! Depending on numbers, we may also include some half court action. Lynch Basketball Camps are designed for both beginners and those with more experience. AQUATICS The Shakopee Aquatics program utilizes the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Please refer to the level descriptions on the city website ( ShakopeeMN.gov/aquatics ) to choose the one that most closely fits your child’s swimming ability. If you have questions on level placement, please call 952-233-9528. It is common for a child to repeat a level before advancing to the next level. Our instructors are committed to teaching your child the necessary skills at each level. Additional practice outside of class time is essential for improved skill acquisition and retention.

SHAKOPEE COMMUNITY CENTER The Shakopee Community Center offers fitness equipment, gyms, walking track, an indoor aquatic center, indoor playground, fitness classes, and meeting space. It is also home to the Shakopee Ice Arena, Ṡ akpe ti Lounge, and the Shakopee Skate Park. Anyone under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Learn more about these amenities on the city website at ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter . ■ Gymnasiums: Our two gyms feature courts for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. Most time is dedicated to open gym. ■ Indoor Track: The three-lane walking/jogging track is free to use and available to the community year-round. ■ Cardiovascular & Strength Area: The fitness center features a variety of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. Participants must be 15 years of age to use the fitness center alone. 12–14 year olds may use the fitness center with a parent/guardian after completing a fitness orientation. ■ Indoor Aquatic Center: The 22,300-square-foot aquatic center includes a zero-depth entry pool with play features and water slide, four-lane lap pool, whirlpool, and sauna. Find open swim and lap swim hours, fees, and aquatic center rules at ShakopeeMN.gov/aquatics . ■ The Lookout: The indoor playground features a variety of play elements for ages 10 and under. Socks required. Available for purchase at the front desk. We would like to inform you that the Shakopee Community Center will be temporarily closed from Saturday, August 30–Sunday, September 7, 2025. Cardio fitness equipment will be unavailable after 8 a.m. on Friday, August 29 to allow for facility upgrades and essential maintenance.

The monthly fee will be deducted from either your debit or credit card on the first of each month. An enrollment fee

BIRTHDAY PARTIES Planning your child’s birthday party can be a big undertaking. We can help reduce the stress. The Shakopee Community Center has many options to make your child’s birthday party a success: SPLASH PARTY—NON-HOSTED

Exclusive use of a party room only, and pool admission is included. Regular pool rules and adult supervision requirements apply. Party package fee: $165 (plus applicable sales tax). LOOKOUT PLAYGROUND PARTY Climb, slide, crawl, jump, and explore the Lookout Indoor Playground. Playground use is non-exclusive. Party package fee: $150 (plus applicable sales tax). Make your child’s birthday party special! THE LOOKOUT At The Lookout, we believe in creating a fun and safe environment where children can unleash their imagination and energy. Our spacious indoor playground is designed for kids 10 and under, featuring a variety of exciting play zones, interactive games, and creative activities. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, looking for a day of family fun, or simply need a warm place for your little one to explore, we’ve got it all! Bring your little explorers to The Lookout where everyday is an adventure! COST: $4 Resident/$6 Non-Resident per child or free with Visit the Community Center for a morning of fun! Bring your clean trikes, riding toys, or play items to use in addition to what is provided. A parent or guardian is required to be in the gym with their children. WHEN: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30–11 a.m., October 6–April 29 COST: $4 Resident/$6 Non-Resident per child or free with Community Center Membership ROOM RENTALS A variety of spaces are available for rent that would be suitable for your event. Do you need a room for 10 or 120? How about audio and visual equipment? We have what you need to have a great family gathering!
