Projects need to receive regional designation by GMPTC - Cities and Counties within metro Innovative ideas for environment and natural resources projects with a distinct public benefit Priorities vary by region. Open to all Lands permanently protected by conservation easement or public ownership or in public waters
No required match; Avg. Grant $250,000- $650,000 though often more
LCCMR Environmental Trust Fund
Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR)
Projects that provide multiple ecological and other public benefits and are consistent with the LCCMR six-year strategic plan and statewide conservation and preservation plan Projects that protect, restore, and enhance wetlands, prairies, forests and habitat for fish, game and wildlife.
