GROUP FITNESS CLASSES The Community Center offers a variety of classes for ages 12 and up (12-14-year-olds may participate when accompanied by a parent/guardian). Classes are taught by certified instructors in a comfortable setting with safety and fun in mind. Reservations are required for classes. Make class reservations at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter . When arriving for classes, check in at the front desk and then scan your membership card or pay the daily fee. Consult with your physician prior to beginning any new exercise program. A list of current classes is available at www. ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter .

OPTIMIZE OCTOBER FITNESS CHALLENGE Optimize your fitness and health and win prizes. Get an entry to a prize drawing each time you participate in a group fitness class, bring a friend to class or bring in a nonperishable food item for the CAP Agency for donation during the month of October. Prizes include gift cards to local businesses, free registration to specialty fitness classes, free personal training sessions and more. This program is free. PERSONAL TRAINING The Community Center offers one-on-one and two-person personal training to help you reach your fitness goals. Certified personal trainers will design a safe and effective program, individualized to each client’s needs, abilities and goals. Personal training sessions are 55 minutes. SMALL GROUP TRAINING Meet with a personal trainer and small group twice a week to facilitate individualized and effective workouts. Fees include eight classes. FALL FITNESS OPEN HOUSE Meet our instructors and try mini-classes of our group exercise offerings. Personal trainers will be available to answer questions and show you around the fitness floor.
