JUNE June 9 | Picnic with Police

Our community showed up for another great Picnic with Police filled with food, games, dancing, and fun giveaways. A huge thank you to HEART Ministries and Mi CASA for their partnership in bringing this event to life! June 18 | Torch Run Shakopee Police hosted its 22nd Annual Torch Run. This four-mile event helps raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics and its summer games.

JULY

July | Daycare and School Visits Shakopee PD connects with several daycare and school groups throughout the year. These visits are always entertaining and full of thoughtful, curious questions from our youngest community members!

AUGUST

August 5 | Night to Unite Night to Unite brings the energy every year! Held the first Tuesday of August, it’s all about coming together. Neighbors, officers and community partners come out to strengthen connections and celebrate all that makes Shakopee such a great place to live!

August 25 | Vehicle Fair Tons of fun at the annual Shakopee

Community Education Vehicle Fair! Families were able to check out lots of cool vehicles and get to know the officers.
