CLUBHOUSE The Long Cove Clubhouse is the centerpiece of our community. It’s a gathering place and a setting for celebrations. We meet in the bar upstairs to share a casual lunch with friends or to enjoy a celebratory post-round or post-match drink. We stop by the chef-manned snack bar to grab a quick bite to eat. We gather in the beautifully decorated dining rooms downstairs to enjoy dinner with our friends and neighbors or to celebrate holidays and special events. The clubhouse interior pays tribute to the understated elegance of the Lowcountry and features the works of local fine artists and Carolina-inspired décor. Finally – and most importantly – a courteous, knowledgeable and attentive clubhouse staff is always on hand to greet members by name and give their guests the warmest of welcome.

GATHER

The more members the merrier! That’s always been our Long Cove Club philosophy and it always will be. Join as many clubs as you would like. The Long Cove Club Cultural Association provides classes, activities and performances dedicated to learning, creating and showcasing your talent. Long Cove Club members volunteer to lead the activities on a weekly and monthly basis. With over 400 members, the Long Cove Yacht Club is the largest social club within the Community. What makes the Yacht Club unique is that it is open to all members, whether they own a boat or not. Activities organized include kayaking, biking, boating, fishing, social events and travel. Weekly activities include bridge, mah jong and water aerobics. Monthly activities include wine tastings, movie nights, bunco and book club. Our members are dedicated to the rich tradition of giving back through the Long Cove Fund . The fund awards yearly grants to local nonprofits focusing on health, housing, hunger and education.

SPORTS CENTER

The Sports Center includes 8 immaculately tended Har- Tru tennis courts, 4 state-of-the-art pickleball courts and two bocce ball lanes, which is a popular gathering place during happy hour. The facility is lit and open for evening play and includes two beautiful areas to watch friends play or gather after your match. The best pros on the island offer private and group instruction and make fabulous hitting partners for those advanced players who are looking for a real workout. Long Cove Club also offers great team events and regularly scheduled, well-organized competitions to accommodate both singles and doubles in both casual and competitive formats. The spirit of personal friendship and team camaraderie between Long Cove Club members and staff is both contagious and long-lasting.

MARINA

Whether you set out on a day filled with exploration and adventure or simply choose to watch local wildlife from a seat on the dock, Long Cove Club’s deep-water marina is your private gateway to the beautiful banks of Broad Creek, Shelter Cove Harbour, Calibogue Sound, and the deep blue sea beyond. Open to all Long Cove Club members at no additional charge as availability allows, this beautiful private water amenity located deep in the heart of Long Cove Club features private boat slips, personal watercraft, kayak and paddle board storage. There are community kayaks for the use of members and their guests and the Marina is a perfect spot to fish, catch the sunset or watch fireworks in the summer. We are committed to protecting our environment and South Carolina waterways through the voluntary South Carolina Clean Marina Program. Long Cove Club and all boat owners implement measures to help reduce pollution and chemical usage.

SWIMMING POOL

Our Junior Olympic sized saline swimming pool is heated and cooled to a perfect 84 degrees for eight months out of the year. Pool activities include water aerobics, lap swimming and warm weather holiday club events. In the summer, have your lunch delivered to the pool to get that resort vacation feeling!

PLAYGROUND

Designed especially for our younger members, the Long Cove Club Playground is located adjacent to the Community Garden and features more than two acres of fun in the Lowcountry sun including a jungle gym, a family picnic area with a ceiling fan, a basketball court, and a large green space perfect for throwing a football or kicking a soccer ball.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

If your thumb is green, Long Cove Club offers complimentary member garden plots. Featuring irrigation, raised bed plots with organic soil, a fruit tree orchard, a patio for enjoying the beautiful flowers and vegetables and an active and lively garden club!

PRIVATE DOG PARK

Dog friendly? You bet we are. In fact, Long Cove Club is the only private community on Hilton Head Island with its very own dog park. The one-acre fenced shady park features continuous fill water bowls, benches, and size-designed play areas for both your small and large furry friends.
