PARL I AMENTARY FR I ENDS OF ORGANIC As part of the celebrations of Australian Organic Awareness month during September, NASAA Organic was pleased to be a part of the inaugural Parliamentary Friends of Organic event, held in Canberra on 5 September 2023. Over 200 Senators, MPs, Foreign dignitaries, parliamentary staff and industry representatives gathered for the event to celebrate and discuss the industry of certified organic and biodynamic businesses. The very best of organics was enjoyed by all with a BBQ lunch at Parliament House. NASAA Organic would like to thank the many businesses who donated their products for the event, which included our NASAA Organic member Organic Times and NCO operators Lark Hill Winery and Pepe Saya. Congratulations to the Australian Organic team for coordinating the logistics that made this such a successful event, and one that the whole organic industry could participate in.

GROWING SA CONFERENCE 30 AUGUST 2023 NASAA Organic was fortunate to be a lanyard sponsor for the Growing SA Conference held in Adelaide on 30 August 2023. As South Australia’s premier grain and livestock conference, this event attracted producers and industry representatives, along with both local and national guests. Presentations were delivered from an array of professional speakers, including highly experienced independent farm consultant agri strategist and author of CROPS people MONEY & you Dr Kate Burke, who was the keynote speaker for the day. The speakers delivered important information for grain and livestock producers, relating to farm issues and practices, decision making, and addressing mental health, along with research and policy data.
