ACT Reviews 2022-2023 Season

Leading the family is Gomez, and his wife, Morticia. Robert Earl, with his Spanish accent, comic delivery, and an indisputable charm played Gomez. Debbie Cornock, with gloomy stares and hair flicks, gave a scintillating portrayal of Morticia. Robert and Debbie played off each other and they had great stage chemistry. Their tango was “strictly” good, too. All is agreed to have special dinner party at which they will play the Addams family favourite game, “Full Disclosure”. Lucas’s parents, Mal (Kevin Whitfield) and Alice entered into the spirit of things for their son. All went well until Pugsley added a little of Grandma’s serum into the sacred chalice. Alice took a drink from the chalice and then had to confess something. The potion started to work and Emma Johnson cleverly portrayed serum high Alice. “They’re creepy and they’re kooky” and loveable. The cast delivered performances worthy of its audience’s ovation and cheers for this theatrical feast.
