4065 1949 A cover from Kwongon registered to Chungking, bearing SYS Hwa Nan print 4c x 4, with local overprinted ‘KWONGON’matchingthedomesticregistrationrate16c,tiedby‘KWONGON/24.6.49’cds,‘CHUNGKING/26.6.49’ arrival cds. This is the second earliest known cover with the West Szechwan local overprint. Local overprint first day is 16th June 1949.
