3126 南寧解放前夕寄台北的航郵封 Kwangsi Nanning Silver Yuan Postage Airmail to Taipei on the Day before Liberation​ ​ 3rd December 1949 mail from Nanning (49.12.04); arrived in Taipei 18th January 1950; affixed with nine Kwangsi 5 fen Silver Yuan; the 45 fen total value equaled the Domestic airmail double registered postage. In early December 1949, PLA had already taken over Kwangtung and Kwangsi. The letter was probably sent from Nanning to Hong Kong by service. However, due to the insurrection of the two KMT aviation companies, domestic airmail service from Hong Kong to Taiwan was not available. This letter was most likely sent by surface to Taipei. It is unthinkable that the post offices in Nanning were business as unusal amid intensive gunfire on the day before liberation.​ 1949年12月3日寄自南了 (49.12.04),1950年1月18日抵達台北. 上貼廣西銀元5分九枚, 總值45分相等國內雙掛號航空郵資,49年 12月上旬，解放軍已接管廣東和廣西，南寧和廣州機場也不再運營。此信應是寄到香港後，發現由於“兩航起義”，寄台 灣的航郵業務已停用，最終是通過水陸路寄往台北. 很難想像在炮火連天的解放前夕, 南寧郵局仍然營運如常。​
