3153 超越北平九日 Beyond the Peiping 9 Days ​

The postal cancellation suggested the Gold Yuan ½ fen (postage for printed matter prior to 31.12.48) was initially accepted. Then after the post office realised that letter was posted on 17.03.49 which is 36 days after the expiry date of the “Peiping 9 Days”, Postage Due post mark was therefore franked and the recipient had to pay a fine to make up the difference in postal rates.​ 蓋在金元票上北平49.03.17郵戳，顯示郵局起初願意接收金元半分郵資（至48.12.31的印刷品郵資）。後來發覺此信比 ”北 平九日” 逾期36日。因此蓋上T欠資郵戳，此信以欠資䖏理。​ ​ The only recorded Gold Yuan cover sent after expiry of the “Peiping 9 days” ​ 這是唯一超越 “北平九日”限期的金元實寄封 ​ HK$ 17,000 - 20,000
