2022 FBINAA Annual Report
LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Members and Friends,
The past year has been one of significant progress with an emphasis on membership and active engagement. This annual report draws attention to several of our most notable successes, as well as opportunities for growth in the future. We have concluded 2022 on a positive note and have built up plenty of momentum as we head into 2023. We have stayed true to our commitment of sustainable growth based on our strategic plan and have been able to focus on the long-term rather than on a year-to-year basis. Our success in 2022 is attributed to member support and engagement. Our membership is strong. As President Braniff mentioned in his message, our goal is not only to increase and retain our members through programs such as the “Reach Out and Re-Engage” (ROAR) campaign but to also provide more benefits to our members. The new Life Member status, recommended by the Membership Committee and approved by the National Board, is a perfect example of this commitment. Because of their long-term loyalty to the Association, Life Members will now receive these exclusive member benefits: print edition of the quarterly Associate Magazine, discounted rate on registration for future FBINAA National Annual Training Conferences, a one-time life member card, a lifetime 20% discount to the online Member Store and the brick-and-mortar store in Quantico and at the National Annual Training Conference, and a Life Member commemorative coin and lapel pin. I learned a long time ago that in both the law enforcement and association businesses, to be successful, you can’t “go it alone”. One of our strategic goals is to increase value to our members by partnering with other organizations with similar missions as the FBINAA. During 2022, we have expanded our academic and strategic partnerships. These partnerships are a two-way street.
