The fire-damaged production line has been upgraded to enable ArcelorMittal Kent Wire to produce in excess of 130,000 tonnes of fabric reinforcement per annum. Sajjan Jindal, chairman and managing director of JSW, said that his company had put in a ‘sub $100 million’ binding bid for three mills owned by Lucchini, with a total production of 1.2 million tonnes.
