This model can be supplied in knock-down condition to save transport costs. The customer receives the reels disassembled and easily assembles them with rods and screws. This solution is cheap and easy and is suitable for customers who need to transport cable on reel from one plant to another. These devices are suitable for different loading capacities, and can be standard or customised as per the customer’s request. The cable diameter range for the machine is 30 to 180mm. The CRRS is also used for the removal of outer sheathing materials such as HDPE with or without a bonded thin aluminium metallic sheath, PE, PVC or lead. The machine is used to remove these individual layers without causing any damage to the subsequent layer below, enabling the outer jacket, lead sheath or triple layer XLPE to be re-applied and the cable repaired.
