BRANDING ON MERCHANDISE When member institutions produce T-shirts, sweatpants and other merchandise, they are permitted to use the MAAC primary or secondary marks with approval of the final design from the conference office. As previously stated, the MAAC mark must be surrounded by ample clear space or an “area of isolation” to keep other visual elements from conflicting with it. It is accepted to use a white stroke or border around the outside of the logo to help with separation from other visual elements.

Institutions are encouraged to combine its school marks with the MAAC marks to enhance the overall brand. Sponsor logos may also be incorporated into the design.
