Daniel, in the Neonatology Department for two months Daniel was born in the 27th week of pregnancy weighing 790 grams. The Neonatology Department at Schneider Children’s is a level-three national referral center, and annually treats about 1,000 premature infants and newborns. The multidisciplinary staff is experienced in neonatal care and includes doctors, nurses, physical therapists, dieticians and psychosocial professionals who provide necessary support to parents of prematurely born infants hospitalized for weeks or even months.
