iii. Phyllis would like to re-arrange the Modify and Duplicate Course buttons when building courses. iv. Buffy stated when you duplicate course there is same enrollment in the new course. It does not duplicate the actual students but the numbers. Rebecca is having an issue with duplicated students. Holly suggested looking at the student list. v. Tish stated that the sentence stating that the student will be contacted be removed from self-registration within the Enrollment Tool. vi. Jennifer James, instructors can still see the passwords for every instructor in the MSVCC, after clicking modify. vii. Jennifer James stated that faculty would like to be able to view their own personal evaluations after the term ends. Holly mentioned that after completing the faculty evaluator survey there is not a place to review the results. viii. Reviewing the roles, DLC would like the ability to see all of the proctor passwords using their DLC account. We would like to combine the counselor and instructor roles. Holly stated it should have been counselor and registrar (miswritten on the form). Jennifer James suggested leaving it as counselor roles, removing Dean role, and librarian role. ix. Ive was presented with the options for the Enrollment Tool roles with the modifications requested. Ive stated it will not be a problem to move the modify button. Ive stated it will not be a problem to remove the self-registration confirmation about being contacted by the college. Dr. Jenkins suggested generate an email for profile. Ive stated that if there was something specific that the school would like to add for the sentence instead, he will provide that option for self-registration. Ive will remove the proctor exam password glitch that shows all passwords for the state. He will create the link for faculty evaluations and will provide access to the faculty evaluator survey results. Ive stated that he will be able to do everything requested. There was not a deadline set for any of these requests. i. 2010 Boot Camp j. Phyllis Johnson – Summer School dates, Summer school will start on May 31 st . Phyllis is having issues with students being registered on 31 st when classes begin on the 31 st . This will delay NWMCC students from being in the course. Summer 2011: begins May 30 th and ends July 22 rd . SBCJC Business- a. SmartThinking- $75,000 first year and $85,000 2 nd year. The site will support both traditional and online students. Christian would like to know if all DLCs want to use SmartThinking, all DLCs approved. Christian stated SmartThinking will be right there in the course site. Christian stated the money is in the Virtual funds. Audra asked does it affect any other building blocks we are currently using, Christian stated NO. Jennifer Leimer made a motion to adopt SmartThinking, Audra Leverton second the motion, none opposed, no discussions, motion approved. Will not be ready until fall 2010. SmartThinking Reps will come on site and provide training to DLCs. Can limit the tutoring service to what the institution would like to offer.
