This term was originally built in the Fall semester, but there have been a few hiccups with the colleges offering courses in this term because of Spring financial aid, etc. This term has been moved to the Spring semester in the ET, called SPDEC03 term. Courses in this term are also being audited as Spring courses. 2. Right now, this change only affects two colleges. We will later need to vote to get an overall consensus about which semester this 3-week December course would need to permanently belong in. 1. A recent report was released, stating that the legislative FY18 budget could include a 6.5% budget cut. This cut would be on top of the FY17 cut that has already taken place. The last MELT meeting provided Quality Matters rubric training, which provided detailed and insightful knowledge regarding online course evaluations and standards. 2. Trainers are required to attend MELT meetings, in order to be considered for the training schedule. ii. OLC Subscription Renewal 1. The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) subscription is up for renewal. If the subscription is not renewed, funds can be reallocated to Quality Matters or another subscription that the Quality Committee may recommend at a later time. 2.
